Proposed events:

The Newport Club barbeque has been pencilled in from 2pm, Saturday August 12th this year. Tickets are open to members, and members guests, at ten pounds per ticket. Children are free. The "Chef-on-the Grill" has been confirmed as Scott Finnie, and with our meats coming from Minick's it's bound to be delicious!. The committee has also agreed that each ticket entitles the bearer to their first drink free. There will be a raffle and a number board with some very desirable prizes on offer, and of course, the bar will be open. Does a Saturday get any better?.

The committee is also looking for notes on interest for a possible golf outing to Scotscraig, with prizes and pies back at The Club after we dig the final player out of whichever bunker they've gotten lost in.
